World War II History Round Table
Cliff is looking forward to participating in the monthly meeting of The Dr. Harold C. Deutsch World War II History Round Table http://www.mn-ww2roundtable.org/index.html The meeting takes place on Thursday, February 11, 2010. Cliff will be one of four Air Corps/Air Force members on a panel that will be moderated by Round Table board member and former KSTP-TV (Channel 5) news anchor and director, Stan Turner. http://www.mighty1220.com/StanTurner/index.php
Veteran’s Day Talk at Edina Public Library
Cliff Digre will be featured at an “Author Talk” at 2 P.M. on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2009, at the Edina Public Library. Selected portions from Into Life’s School: My World War II Memories will be read. And Cliff will describe being inducted into the Army Air Corps, basic training, gunnery school, the Signal Corps, and crew assignment and the missions they flew.

Memorial Day at the Minnesota History Center
Cliff is pleased and honored to be one of six authors invited by the Minnesota History Center to participate in a book festival on Memorial Day at the history center in St. Paul. The authors will be on the second floor (John Ireland corridor) from 1 to 4 P.M. to talk with visitors and have their books available as part of the exhibit Minnesota’s Greatest Generation: The Depression, The War, The Boom. The First Internet Sale
The first hardcover book was purchased online April 10, 2009 by David, an amateur WW II historian who lives in Sparks, NV. Thanks, David!
